Common Lisp
Early Key ideas in Lisp were developed by John McCarthy during the 1956 Dartmouth Summer Research Project on AI. There were two early dialects of LISP: MacLISP and InterLISP. In April 1981 Symbolics, the SPICE project, the NIL project and the S-1 LISP project joined toegether to define common LISP. Common Lisp was designed as description of a family of languages.
